The Living Canon & Shared Expression** The Church of the Holy operates as a living, evolving ecosystem. In accordance with our open canon, when members submit creative works, poetry, testimony, or rituals to be included in our shared liturgy or text collections, they retain the original copyright to their individual creations. However, by submitting your work to the Church for public or community use, you grant the Church a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that text as part of our ongoing ministry, literature, digital spaces, and community archives. We build the foundation together. ##### **2. Trademark, Nomenclature, and Slang** All formal ecclesiastical titles, structural literature, and visual vectors displayed on our public domain are the protected intellectual property of The Church of the Holy. Regarding our community vernacular, social media identities, and informal slang: these expressions belong to the cultural ecosystem of our members. Committed members and practitioners are fully encouraged to use these terms, create community memes, and share materials for non-commercial, localized fellowship and outreach, provided such use aligns with the **Ten Canon Laws of Systemic Harmony and Autonomous Integrity**. ##### **3. Non-Commercial & Open Stewardship** The sacred geometry, texts, and foundational cosmology of this Order are tools meant for human reclamation, not corporate commodification. **Permitted Use:** Members are granted a revocable, non-exclusive license to download, print, and utilize our formal liturgy, Canon Laws, and visual emblems for personal protection, workplace accommodation documentation, and private ritual. **Prohibited Use:** No individual or external corporate entity may weaponize, trademark, or exploit the names, emblems, or codified literature of The Church of the Holy for commercial profit, advertising optimization, or systemic extraction, as explicitly forbidden under Canon Law VI and VIII. These truths have been maintained through oral traditions, lived practice, and direct relationship with the land for thousands of years.*  *As a Maine-based church, we honor the Wabanaki Confederacy—the Penobscot, Passamaquoddy, Maliseet, Micmac, and Abenaki peoples—upon whose unceded ancestral lands and waters we gather and practice.* *The suppression of indigenous wisdom and the severing of humans from land-based consciousness have been catastrophic.
