# We Don't End, We Begin Again

What are you doing?  
Why do you fear?  
Don’t you know death is not the end?

We keep going on  
In every form through time  
Exploring endless possibility

We’re here in this moment  
No beginning, no end  
We enjoy what we have while it’s here

The wind in your hair  
The sand in between your toes  
The smell of salt and seaweed

Don’t you remember when  
We were swimming free  
And emerged victorious

We moved onto new terrain  
Time we built again   
With new skin and lungs

We roamed free on the plains   
We built landscapes and color  
More beauty than we could foresee

Why did we start building cages?  
Why are we keeping ourselves out?   
Why are we killing ourselves?

Don’t you know I’m here?  
Are you tired, my love?  
Was it the advent of pain?

The kind that never leaves  
The kind passed down  
The one hard to face?

Are you ashamed of what you did?  
Are you scared of what you can do?  
Don’t you know it’s okay to let go?

The darkness is scary  
But that’s where I am  
I promise, I promise

If you fall, I am there  
I’ll catch you forever  
As long as you keep coming back

Keep exploring, my forever  
Don’t give up when it’s hard  
There’s always a way through

I’m here in the wreckage  
I’m here when you rise  
I’m here through it all

We can never be separated   
Don’t turn away, my eternal  
You are safe in my arms

Me without you is nothing  
Me with you is everything  
Only together is anything possible

Keep exploring; I’m there  
Keep living; I’m with you  
You’re never alone, my love

We don’t end  
We begin again
